Dr. James Reynolds
Dr. James Reynolds grew up in Trucksville, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from College Misericordia in Dallas, Pennsylvania. He went on to attend the New England College of Optometry in Boston where he graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2000. There he met Dr. Stockbridge and the two have remained close friends ever since. He then completed a hospital-based residency at Wilkes-Barre VAMC in Pennsylvania with a concentration on ocular disease. Since that time, Dr. Reynolds has worked in ophthalmology practices in both Lewiston, Maine and Rochester, New York. In 2010, Dr. Reynolds moved to North Carolina to pursue his goal of opening a practice with his longtime friend. He and his wife, Dawn, live in Holly Springs and have two young children. In his spare time, his hobbies include golfing and cheering on the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
Dr. Greg Stockbridge
Dr. Greg Stockbridge grew up in Westmoreland, a small town in Upstate New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Brockport State University, just outside of Rochester, New York. He then attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry. After graduating, Dr. Stockbridge moved to Kansas City to complete a hospital-based residency focusing on ocular disease management and low vision rehabilitation. He then moved to Virginia Beach where he practiced with an ophthalmology group and eyecarecenter for several years before relocating to Cary. In 2007, Dr. Stockbridge graduated from the Duke University MBA program. He is happily married to Ashley Stockbridge, a past kindergarten teacher at Middle Creek Elementary School that is now working full time to raise their 2 wonderful children, Ashton and Ainsley. They attend Hope Community Church and enjoy traveling and exploring new places. In addition to family time he enjoys carpentry work, exercising, real estate and economics.
